Upon arrival at Leh Airport (11,811 Ft / 3,600 Mts, 10 Kms / 35 Min Drive), our representative will greet you and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. Spend the day resting and acclimatizing while staying hydrated. In the evening, visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, and the local market before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay in Leh.
After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour along the Leh-Srinagar Highway (11,562 Ft / 3,525 Mts, 30 Kms / 1 Hr Drive), visiting the Hall of Fame Museum, maintained by the Indian Army, showcasing war history and bravery. Pay respects at Kali Mata Temple (Spituk Monastery) and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, built to commemorate Guru Nanak Dev's visit. Experience the optical illusion of Magnetic Hill, where vehicles appear to roll uphill, and admire the stunning confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers (Sangam) before returning to Leh for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley (10,000 Ft / 3,048 Mts, 130 Kms / 5 to 6 Hrs Drive) via Khardungla Pass (5,359 M / 17,582 Ft), one of the highest motorable roads in the world, admiring the breathtaking views of endless snow-capped peaks. Continue to Nubra, a picturesque valley known for its sand dunes, Bactrian camels, the swift Shyok River, and Diskit Monastery. After checking in at the hotel, relax before heading out in the late afternoon for a Camel Safari, ATV ride, or a peaceful walk in the scenic surroundings. Overnight stay in Nubra.
After breakfast, begin the journey towards Pangong Tso (14,270 Ft / 4,350 Mts, 185 Kms / 5 to 6 Hrs Drive) via the Agyam-Shyok route, following the same path towards Leh until Khalsar. From Agyam Bridge, take the left route passing through the villages of Shyok and Durbuk, navigating steep but scenic roads. After Durbuk, turn left towards Tangtse and continue along the traditional route to reach Pangong Lake, one of the largest and most breathtaking brackish lakes in the Himalayas. Located at 14,000 ft, more than half of the lake lies within Chinese territory, with one-third in India. Spend time exploring the lake, walking along its banks, and enjoying birdwatching before settling in for an overnight stay at Pangong.
After breakfast, begin the journey back to Leh (11,483 Ft / 3,500 Mts, 230 Kms / 5 to 6 Hrs Drive), taking a short halt at Changla Pass to enjoy a cup of hot steaming tea. En route, visit Thikshey Monastery and the famous Rancho School before continuing to Leh for check-in and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport (11,562 Ft / 3,525 Mts, 5 Kms / 20 Min Drive) for your onward journey, carrying unforgettable memories of Ladakh.
