Immerse yourself in Tibetan Buddhist spirituality and monasteries in Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj, and wander through the cedar-fringed meadow of Khajjiar—the "Mini Switzerland of India"—in colonial Dalhousie. Assemble by 06:00 AM at your designated pickup point in Delhi/NCR. Cruise along NH-44 through Sonipat and Karnal before joining the Himalayan Expressway near Kalka. Stop near Panchkula to explore the 17th-century Mughal terraced fountains at Pinjore Gardens. Ascend through the pine-clad hills of Solan into Shimla (7,200 ft) by late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay in Shimla.
2
After breakfast, drive up to the mountain resort of Kufri (8,600 ft). Enjoy panoramic views of the Greater Himalayan ranges, visit the Himalayan Nature Park (home to monals, barking deer, and snow leopards), and take an optional horse ride through pine woods to Mahasu Peak. In the afternoon, return to Shimla to visit the hilltop Jakhoo Temple, dedicated to Lord Hanuman and home to the giant 108-foot statue. Spend the evening browsing wooden handicrafts at Lakkar Bazaar. Dinner and overnight stay in Shimla.

Depart early at 07:00 AM after breakfast. Descend into the Satluj valley and wind past Sundernagar Lake and the scenic Pandoh Dam on the Beas River. Stop at the cliffside Hanogi Mata Temple and pass through the Aut Tunnel into the Kullu Valley. Stop at an authorized Kullu Shawl Weaving Factory to observe traditional handlooms. (Optional: Enjoy a white-water river rafting run on the Beas River at Babeli). Arrive in Manali (6,700 ft) by evening and check into your valley hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Manali.
4
08:30 AM – 01:00 PM (Solang Valley Adventure): Drive 14 km up the valley to Solang Valley (8,400 ft). Take in views of snow-capped crags and glaciers.
