Kudremukh Peak Monsoon Trek

Arrive at the traditional Malnad-style homestay early morning. Freshen up and fuel up with a traditional South Indian breakfast. Board local 4x4 open jeeps to reach the Forest Way Office at Mullodi village—the official entry gate. The Trek: Clear forest permissions and begin walking through thick, dark shola forests, crossing rushing streams and climbing endless ridges enveloped in moving mist. Reach the 6,214 ft summit to witness a jaw-dropping view of the clouds floating over rolling mountain crests. Enjoy your packed lunch at a permitted resting point. Descend back to Mullodi village by evening and return to the homestay via jeeps. Celebrate with a warm campfire (weather permitting) and a heavy local Malnad buffet dinner.

Wake up to the sounds of nature and enjoy a relaxed breakfast. Take a short morning stroll to visit the hidden, misty Somavati Waterfalls for a refreshing splash or tour a local estate to buy fresh Chikmagalur coffee beans. Check out from the homestay and board the vehicles for the return journey. Stop along the way for lunch and arrive back in Bengaluru by late Sunday night (approx. 10:00 PM).
