Walk the wide ramparts overlooking the sea. Step inside the Church of Bom Jesus (completed in 1603) to admire its hand-carved, gold-leaf-gilded wood altarpiece crafted by Goan and Portuguese artisans. Walk through the weathered stone arches of the Dominican Monastery ruins, a 16th-century theological headquarters that now stands as an open-air historical monument.
01:30 PM – 06:30 PM (Casuarina Shores & Water Sports at Jampore Beach): Drive south past Moti Daman to Jampore Beach, widely regarded as Daman's finest recreational shoreline. Shaded by dense groves of Casuarina trees, the beach features dark, firm sand and gentle, shallow low tides that make it safe for swimming and long barefoot walks.
