Spectacular flight into Paro (PBH). Meet your guide and drive to Thimphu along the scenic river valleys. Evening stroll around the Thimphu Town Square.
Visit the majestic Buddha Dordenma (169ft bronze statue), National Memorial Chorten, and the Motithang Takin Preserve to see Bhutan’s unique national animal. Evening tour of Tashichho Dzong.
Drive back to Paro. Visit Ta Dzong (National Museum) hosting ancient artifacts, followed by a walk down to the fortress of Rinpung Dzong.
Embark on the legendary hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), precariously perched on a cliffside 900 meters above the valley floor.
Excursion to Chele La Pass (the highest motorable point in Bhutan) for panoramic views of Mt. Jomolhari. Evening experience of a traditional Bhutanese Dotsho (Hot Stone Bath).
Early breakfast and private transfer to Paro International Airport for your return flight.
