Upon arrival at Leh Airport (11,811 Ft / 3,600 Mts), you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to the hotel for check-in. Spend the day resting and acclimatizing while drinking plenty of water. In the evening, visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, and the local market. Overnight stay in Leh.
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing along the Leh - Manali Highway. Visit Hemis Monastery, Thiksey Monastery, Rancho School (Druk Padma School), and Shey Palace. Enjoy the cultural and spiritual essence of these historic monasteries. Later, return to Leh. Overnight stay in Leh.
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley (10,000 Ft / 3,048 Mts, 130 Kms / 5 to 6 Hrs Drive) via Khardungla Pass (5,359 M / 17,582 Ft), one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Enjoy the breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks along the way. Continue towards Nubra, known for its sand dunes, Bactrian camels, the swift Shyok River, and Diskit Monastery. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. Later in the afternoon, enjoy a Camel Safari, ATV ride, or a leisurely walk around the peaceful neighborhood. Overnight stay in Nubra.
After breakfast, retrace the route towards Leh until Khalsar and take the left turn at Agyam Bridge towards Shyok and Durbuk villages. The road after Shyok is steep but offers breathtaking scenery. From Durbuk, take a left towards Tangtse, following the traditional route to Pangong Lake (14,270 Ft / 4,350 Mts, 185 Kms / 5 to 6 Hrs Drive). This stunning brackish lake, more than half of which lies in Chinese territory, is one of the most mesmerizing sights in the Himalayas. Spend the evening exploring the lake, walking along its shores, and birdwatching. Overnight stay in Pangong.
After breakfast, travel back to Leh (11,483 Ft / 3,500 Mts, 230 Kms / 5 to 6 Hrs Drive). En route, take a short halt at Changla Pass to enjoy a steaming cup of tea. Continue the scenic journey back to Leh and relax at your hotel. Overnight stay in Leh.
After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour along the Leh - Srinagar Highway. Visit the Hall of Fame Museum, maintained by the Indian Army, showcasing historical war exhibits. Pay respects at Kali Mata Temple (Spituk Monastery) and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, built in honor of Guru Nanak Dev. Experience the optical illusion of Magnetic Hill, where vehicles appear to roll uphill against gravity, and admire the breathtaking Sangam, where the Indus and Zanskar rivers merge. Return to Leh in the evening. Overnight stay in Leh.
After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport (11,562 Ft / 3,525 Mts, 5 Kms / 20 Min Drive) for your onward journey, carrying wonderful memories of Ladakh with you.
