Arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) or New Delhi Railway Station (NDLS). Meet your driver and check into your hotel. In the afternoon, explore South Delhi’s architectural highlights: visit the 12th-century Qutub Minar and the garden tomb complex of Humayun’s Tomb. Drive past the ceremonial boulevard of Kartavya Path, viewing India Gate and the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Stop by the floral-shaped Lotus Temple before returning to your hotel. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Take an early morning flight (approx. 1 hr 20 min) or the morning Vande Bharat Express (approx. 8 hrs) to Varanasi. Check into your hotel and freshen up. In the late afternoon, walk through the newly expanded Shree Kashi Vishwanath Temple corridor dedicated to Lord Shiva. By sunset, head to Dashashwamedh Ghat to secure prime vantage seats on a traditional boat for the mesmerizing evening Maha Ganga Aarti, complete with brass lamps, conch shells, and chanting. Rise before dawn for a sunrise boat ride along the Ganges, watching pilgrims perform morning rituals across Assi, Dashashwamedh, and Manikarnika Ghats. After breakfast, drive 10 km north to Sarnath, the deer park where Gautama Buddha delivered his first sermon. Explore the Dhamek Stupa, Ashoka Pillar ruins, and the Sarnath Archaeological Museum. In the afternoon, tour the green campus of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) to see the New Vishwanath Temple (Birla Temple) and the Bharat Kala Bhavan art museum. After breakfast, visit the Bharat Mata Temple, unique for housing an undivided relief map of India carved out of Makrana marble. Cross the Ganges via the Malviya Bridge to tour the 18th-century Ramnagar Fort, the ancestral home of the Maharaja of Benares, housing vintage royal palanquins and armories. Check out and transfer to Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport (VNS) or Varanasi Junction (BSB) for your flight or evening train back to Delhi.
