Sacred Ayodhya & Varanasi Pilgrimage

Begin with an early morning holy dip at the Saryu River followed by a visit to the ancient Nageshwarnath Temple Ayodhya and Guptar Ghat (the historic site where Lord Rama took Jal Samadhi). After breakfast, check out and begin the drive south to Varanasi (approx. 4–4.5 hours via Purvanchal Expressway). Arrive in Varanasi, check into your hotel, and freshen up. In the late afternoon, head to the newly built Shree Kashi Vishwanath Temple corridor for evening prayers, followed by a riverside walk to witness the world-famous evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Rise before dawn for a sunrise boat ride across the Ganges to view the morning rituals (Subah-e-Banaras) along Assi, Dashashwamedh, and Manikarnika Ghats. Return to your hotel for breakfast. Mid-morning, drive 10 km to Sarnath, the deer park where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. Tour the ancient Dhamek Stupa and the Archaeological Museum housing the original Ashokan Lion Capital. In the afternoon, visit the New Vishwanath Temple (Birla Temple) on the Banaras Hindu University campus, the historic Durga Kund Temple, and Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple. Spend the evening exploring the local silk and brass markets of Godowlia. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

After breakfast, visit the unique Bharat Mata Temple housing an undivided map of India carved out of Makrana marble. Depending on your flight schedule, explore Ramnagar Fort or pick up authentic Banarasi sweets (Malaiyyo, Banarasi Paan) and silk sarees before transferring to Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport (VNS) or Varanasi Junction for your onward journey.
