Begin your journey from Cochin in the morning for a scenic drive to Munnar. The 4-5 hour journey takes you through breathtaking views of lush hills, tea plantations, and waterfalls. On the way, stop at Valara Waterfalls and Cheeyappara Waterfalls for some refreshing sights. Upon reaching Munnar, check in to your hotel and unwind. In the afternoon, visit the Tea Museum to explore Munnar's rich tea heritage. Afterward, take a leisurely stroll through the town's markets and enjoy the local atmosphere. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Start your day with a visit to Mattupetty Dam, where you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and perhaps take a boat ride. Next, head to Echo Point, famous for its natural echo phenomenon and scenic views of the surrounding hills. From here, visit Kundala Lake for a serene boat ride. In the afternoon, tour the Tea Gardens, and take a walk through the rolling green hills. You can also visit a tea factory to see the tea-making process. Later, explore Eravikulam National Park and enjoy a short trek to witness the Nilgiri Tahr and the spectacular views of the Western Ghats. Optionally, visit Attukal Waterfalls for a refreshing experience before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.
On the final day, check out of your hotel and head towards Top Station, the highest point in Munnar. From here, enjoy panoramic views of the Western Ghats and the plains of Tamil Nadu. Before returning to Cochin, make a stop at a Spice Plantation to explore the fragrant world of spices and purchase some fresh spices. Arrive in Cochin by evening, where you can visit Fort Kochi or enjoy a peaceful walk along Marine Drive before the tour concludes.
