Arrive in Kathmandu, the vibrant capital of Nepal. After settling into your hotel, begin your journey with a visit to the Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), where you can enjoy panoramic views of the city. Spend the evening exploring the lively streets of Thamel, known for its eclectic mix of shops, cafes, and restaurants.
Start your day with a visit to the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Continue to the Boudhanath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the largest stupas in the world. In the afternoon, explore Patan Durbar Square, known for its stunning Newari architecture and rich cultural heritage. Return to Kathmandu in the evening for a traditional Nepali dinner.
Discover more of Kathmandu's cultural gems with a visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square, a complex of palaces, courtyards, and temples, including the Kumari Ghar, home to the living goddess. Afterward, visit the Garden of Dreams, a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city. Spend the afternoon at Bhaktapur, a medieval city known for its well-preserved architecture, pottery, and vibrant local life. Return to Kathmandu for a relaxed evening.
On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast and take some time to explore any remaining sights or indulge in some last-minute shopping at Asan Bazaar. Depending on your flight schedule, you may wish to revisit a favorite spot or simply relax before your departure. Check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport, concluding your magical 4-day journey in Kathmandu.
