The Summit Push: Wake up at 1:00 AM. Fasten headlamps, gaiters, and microspikes (if snow/ice is hard-packed). Trek out into the freezing night, navigating steep scree fields, slippery boulder gullies, and high-altitude moraines. Reach the sacred ridge just before dawn. Stand before the 79-foot vertical rock pillar of Kinnaur Kailash Shivling. Witness the monolith catch the first golden rays of the sunrise, shifting in color as morning light hits its mineral facets. Offer prayers, absorb the spiritual silence, and begin a careful, deliberate descent across loose rock. Stop briefly at Parvati Kund to pack, hydrate, and continue downward to the softer meadows of Maling Khata for hot soup and rest. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.
