En Route Waterfalls: As the road climbs through Neriamangalam, stop to view the tiered roadside cascades of Cheeyappara Waterfalls and the misty forest curtain of Valara Waterfalls. 08:00 AM – 11:30 AM (Eravikulam National Park): Drive to Rajamalai, the core tourism zone of Eravikulam National Park. Board the forest department bus to spot the endangered Nilgiri Tahr (mountain goat) grazing on the shola grasslands beneath Anamudi Peak (8,695 ft). (Note: Park closes annually for calving from Feb to late March; alternate visits to the KFDC Floriculture Centre apply).
