Overview
Experience the profound spiritual sanctity of Uttarakhand's high Himalayas with Sky Globals. The primary logistical hurdle of the original draft is Day 4: trekking down 22 km from Kedarnath to Gaurikund and then immediately driving 8–9 hours to Badrinath along steep mountain ghat roads is physically unviable and violates mountain night-driving safety curfews.
This corrected itinerary breaks the journey at Pipalkoti / Joshimath after trekking down from Kedarnath, allowing an early morning ascent into Badrinath with ample time for darshan and an excursion to Mana Village.

Tour Itinerary
1
Arrive at Haridwar Railway Station or Dehradun Jolly Grant Airport (DED). Meet your driver and transfer to your hotel. Settle in and shake off the travel fatigue. In the late afternoon, proceed to the sacred Har Ki Pauri to witness the Maha Ganga Aarti, where hundreds of brass oil lamps illuminate the swirling waters of the holy Ganga amidst the chanting of Vedic hymns. Stroll through the bustling Moti Bazaar for spiritual souvenirs. Overnight stay in Haridwar (or Rishikesh).
2
Begin early after breakfast, ascending into the Garhwal Himalayas along the Alaknanda and Mandakini river valleys. Stop at Devprayag to view the sacred confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers that forms the holy Ganga, followed by a photo stop at Rudraprayag (confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini). Arrive in Guptkashi by late afternoon and check into your hotel. Visit the ancient stone-carved Ardhanarishwar / Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Guptkashi. Complete medical checks and biometric registration verifications. Overnight stay in Guptkashi / Phata.
3
Start before dawn with a drive to Sonprayag/Gaurikund (the trek base). Begin the upward trek (18 km) to Kedarnath Dham along the scenic Mandakini Valley. Travelers may hike, hire a mule/kandi, or board a booked helicopter shuttle from Phata/Sirsi/Guptkashi helipads. Reach the high-altitude plateau of Kedarnath (3,583 m / 11,755 ft) framed by the snow-capped Kedarnath and Karcha peaks. Check into your basic mountain lodge/guesthouse. Attend the evening Aarti outside the 8th-century stone temple. Overnight stay in Kedarnath.
4
Attend early morning temple darshan and witness the sunrise glowing over the Kedarnath massif. Begin your descent trek back to Gaurikund/Sonprayag (approx. 5–6 hours). Board your private vehicle and drive via the scenic Chopta/Mandal or Chamoli route to Pipalkoti or Joshimath. Check into your hotel for a much-needed hot shower, wholesome dinner, and deep rest after the trek. Overnight stay in Pipalkoti / Joshimath.
5
Drive up through the winding gorges of Vishnuprayag to Badrinath Dham (3,133 m / 10,279 ft). Take a holy dip in the natural thermal springs of Tapt Kund before entering the colorful Badrinath Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Badri Vishal). Afterward, drive 3 km further to Mana Village—the last Indian village before the Indo-Tibetan border—to explore Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and the roaring Bhim Pul over the Saraswati River. In the afternoon, begin the downward drive back to Rudraprayag / Srinagar. Check into your riverside hotel. Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.
6
After breakfast, begin the descent back toward the plains. En route, stop in Rishikesh to walk across the iconic Ram Jhula or Janki Jhula, explore the Beatles Ashram or Triveni Ghat, and enjoy lunch at a riverside café. Transfer to Haridwar Railway Station or Dehradun Airport (DED) in the late afternoon for your onward journey.
