Tour Itinerary
1
Arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) in Denpasar. Meet your dedicated English-speaking private driver with a traditional Balinese frangipani flower welcome. Drive north into the central highlands, ascending toward the cultural capital of Ubud. Check into your resort overlooking the lush river valley or jungle canopy. Spend the evening relaxing by the pool or enjoying a traditional Balinese dinner (such as Ayam Betutu or crispy duck) at a local garden restaurant. Overnight stay in Ubud.
2
After breakfast, start your morning walking under the nutmeg trees of the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, observing hundreds of Balinese long-tailed macaques and moss-covered 14th-century temples. Next, head north to the stepped emerald amphitheater of the Tegallalang Rice Terraces to learn about the ancient Subak irrigation system and try the iconic high-altitude Bali jungle swing. In the afternoon, visit the historic Ubud Royal Palace (Puri Saren Agung) and browse the vibrant handicrafts, woven rattan bags, and woodcarvings at the Ubud Traditional Art Market. Overnight stay in Ubud.
3
Check out after breakfast and begin your drive toward the southwestern coast. Stop first at the jungle cascades of Tegenungan Waterfall for a refreshing dip or photo opportunity. Continue through Tabanan Regency to the sea-carved offshore rock shrine of Tanah Lot Temple. Walk along the cliffs and receive a traditional blessing with holy freshwater at the base of the rock during low tide. Proceed to stylish Seminyak and check into your hotel or private pool villa. Spend the late afternoon sunbathing on Seminyak Beach and dine at a trendy beachfront lounge like Potato Head or Ku De Ta. Overnight stay in Seminyak.
4
Enjoy a relaxed morning exploring the designer boutiques of Seminyak Square or indulging in a 60-minute Balinese massage. In the early afternoon, drive south to the Bukit Peninsula to swim or relax on the turquoise shores of Padang Padang Beach (tucked through a natural limestone cleft). Continue to Uluwatu Temple (Pura Luhur Uluwatu), perched 70 meters atop a sheer cliff face plunging into the roaring Indian Ocean. At 6:00 PM, take your seats in the cliffside open-air amphitheater for the hypnotic Kecak & Fire Dance as the sun sets over the horizon. Conclude the evening with an optional candlelit fresh seafood dinner on the sands of Jimbaran Bay. Overnight stay in Seminyak.
5
Savor a leisurely breakfast at your villa. Depending on your flight schedule, take a final walk along Petitenget Beach or pick up last-minute Balinese coffee, silver jewelry, and aromatherapy souvenirs from Bintang Supermarket or local boutiques. Check out and meet your private chauffeur for direct transfer to Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) for your onward flight home.
