Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

• Day : 1  Arrival in Darjeeling

  ★ Arrive at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport and transfer to Darjeeling (approximately 3-4 hours). Check-in at your hotel in Darjeeling. Stroll along the Mall Road and explore local shops. Visit Chowrasta, a popular promenade in Darjeeling.

• Day : 2  Darjeeling Sightseeing

  ★ Early morning visit to Tiger Hill to witness the sunrise over the Kanchenjunga mountain range. Explore the Batasia Loop, a spiral railway track offering panoramic views of Darjeeling. Visit Ghoom Monastery, one of the oldest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in Darjeeling. Visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park. Explore the Peace Pagoda for a tranquil experience.

• Day : 3  Darjeeling to Gangtok

  ★ Morning drive from Darjeeling to Gangtok (approximately 4-5 hours). Check-in at your hotel in Gangtok. Explore MG Road, the main shopping and dining area in Gangtok. Visit Enchey Monastery, a beautiful Tibetan Buddhist monastery.

• Day : 4  Gangtok Sightseeing

  ★ Visit Tsomgo Lake (also known as Changu Lake), a high-altitude glacial lake. Explore the Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple, a revered shrine near Tsomgo Lake. Visit Nathula Pass, a mountain pass on the India-China border (check for permits and availability). Visit Rumtek Monastery, one of the largest monasteries in Sikkim.

• Day : 5  Gangtok to Sikkim and Departure

  ★ Visit the Flower Exhibition Centre to see a variety of Himalayan flowers. Explore the Sikkim State Museum to learn about the local culture and history. Transfer back to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.
